Viking :)
Wondering if you have done any research on Ship Harbour, Nova Scotia (45 minutes east of Halifax) regards possible Viking landings there? I live in Florida and own a second home there. One of the neighbors mentioned that some experts feel that place (a deep harbour, short river and long lake connected) is a prime spot per the saga details... Some one has supposedly found some stones arrayed in a manner that the Vikings used when they pulled their boats out of the water...sorry for so few details but all I have heard...

Jag var inne lite och kollade, hemsidan är ju jättefin nu. Jag har skrivit lite om fornnordisk religion mm i Ingmars engelska kurs, om det kan vara något. Kul att Häkan har fått jobbet på Vasamuseet och Olle på Armémuseum(och Ericka och Torleif på arkivet där)
Jag kommer praktisera på Medelhavsmuseet med en djärv hypermodern utställning av Cypernsamlingen.

Norstead Viking Organization
Norstead is a Canadian non-profit viking organization, a viking village and a viking port of trade located at L'Anse aux Meadows, Newfoundland, Canada.
The viking living history attraction is open from Mid June until Mid September 2008- 9a.m. until 6p.m. Daily
Norstead also arranges a Mid Summer Viking Festival in July and this year the summer play "The Death of Balder" was performed.

Hello Tim!
It was nice to hear from Nova Scotia and cape Briton! I plan to go there again soon, primarily to visit Chegoggin. But the shores south of Cape Gabarus are as you already have read a very interesting candidate for Furdustrandir, and the cape itself may possibly be Kjalarnes, "the keel promontory".
